We attended the launch event of the CEP (Carbon and Energy Professionals NZ,formerly EMANZ), on Thursday 3 October.
There was a great turnout, with good networking opportunities, and the chance to hear James Shaw deliver a very positive speech, backing the name change of the organisation.
As a foundation partner of the CEP Geoff Bennett (Energy TS CEO) also said a few words.
It was an easy decision to become a foundation member of the CEP, as Carbon management is the core of what we do now, and we value energy efficiencies, and how our clients can achieve these, as the most cost effective way to reduce emissions.
The name change from EMANZ to CEP more clearly identifies a forum for the open exchange of ideas and concepts for the climate change professionals and community.
